The Role of the Governor
Kirklevington Primary School Governing Body
Governors are critical friends who help our school to improve. Our Governors have lots of different experiences and roles, which help them to do a great job. We have a Local Authority Governor, staff governors, parent governors and co-opted governors from the local community.
Governors meet as a Full Governing Body once a term, and in committees at least twice termly. The School Improvement and Finance and Staffing Committees report information from and decisions made at their meetings, at each full meeting. Governors also have a Strategy Working Party, with the remit of considering further ways to drive the school and Governing Body forward.
